Sustainability
Traditional printing processes involved significant resource consumption, including paper, ink, and energy, leading to considerable environmental impact. However, advancements in manufacturing and technology and have allowed us to adopt more sustainable practices.
One key aspect of sustainability is the use of eco-friendly materials. We now opt for recycled or responsibly sourced paper and plastics wherever possible to reduce our ecological footprint. Additionally, ink development has created alternatives less harmful compared to traditional petroleum-based inks. Moreover, our continued investment in digital printing technologies have enabled more efficient use of resources, such as reduced ink wastage and energy consumption, further contributing to sustainability efforts.
Another consideration is waste reduction and recycling. We continually refine processes to minimize waste generation throughout the production process. This includes minimising paper waste, implementing efficient ink management, and adopting recycling programs for discarded materials.
Furthermore, investing in a generous roof-top PV system to capture
Overall, as a business we owe it to our customers to do all we can to promote a sustainable future for all.
Case Study: Solar Panels
Installation of a 99.6kW Solahart PV System transformed our power profile. Consisting of 222 x 450W panels, 100kW inverter and an advanced monitoring system. We have achieved a reduction of 42% in power consumption and conservatively offset 128 tonnes of CO2 every year. Combine the benefits with a return on investment in just 4.5 years and the decision to back up our environmental beliefs was not even in question.
